6 months!

Olive had her 6 month checkup this past week. She now weighs over 16 pounds (still right around the 50th percentile) and has grown to 27 inches long. That is in the 95th percentile. She was a very good girl for Dr. Berger.

Olive was also a good girl for her Papa this week. Molly had to go to training this past week in Santa Fe so it was just me and little O. We had a good week, but we were excited to welcome Mom home yesterday.

Happy Father's Day

Today was my first Father's Day and I couldn't have asked for a better day. The girls let me sleep in and when I woke up they had cards and gifts for me. Olive got me an Atlanta Braves hat, and Molly got us all tickets to see the Braves play the Diamondbacks in August. After gift opening the girls took me to my favorite breakfast restaurant and my favorite coffee shop. Then we went and looked around the local Farmer's Market. When we got home we took the dogs on a nice long walk in the forest. Then I got the rest of the day off from chores and got to watch golf and baseball on TV. What a day!

Molly, Olive and I would like to wish a Happy Father's Day to all the Dad's in our life. We were both blessed with wonderful Father's and are so thankful of all they have done for us.

And I want to thank my two girls for making my first Father's Day so special.

Give peas a chance

Someone was very excited to get her first taste of peas, in her new high chair no less.

The Painting Crew

Mom and Mike came to Flagstaff for a visit this past week, and it just so happened that we were in the process of painting the house. Being the excellent hosts we are, Molly and I allowed them to help. It turned out to be a great week. We can't thank Mom and Mike enough for all their hard work. Not only did they do a ton of painting, but Mike tore out a part of fence that we have been wanting out for a long time. Olive also got to spend a few days with Grandma and Papa Mike while Molly and I went to work.

We had such a fun week. Thanks so much Mom and Mike for all your help!
