Hoosier Visitors (Part 2)

More pics from when the family came for a visit. We still have a lot of snow on the ground but a lot has melted off. I think Grandma, Pop Pop and Beetsy got enough snow while they were here to last them the winter!

Hoosier Visitors

Pop Pop Schroer, Grandma and Beetsy made the long trek to Arizona last week. We had a lot of fun while they were around and as a bonus, they were treated to a LOT of snow...around 16-20 inches. We were even snowed in for one night.

We celebrated an early Christmas and had a wonderful time. Olive met a new monster named Gulp and we ate lots of good food. It is so nice to have the family visit.

The rocking horse below is one that Aunt Jude and Mary gave Olive last year for Christmas. It is funny to look back on the old pictures and see how little she was when she first got him. She has been in to riding "Wildfire" (as Will has named him) a lot lately.

Christmas is coming...

Per the Schroer side of the family, we have been getting ready for Christmas now for the last few weeks. We have the tree up and Olive has been making bells and reindeer at her day care. Today, Pop Pop, Grandma and Aunt Beetsy are coming for an early Christmas. We are looking forward to a fun week.

Olive also received one of her favorite things from her Auntie Boo (Elizabeth)...a ball. Olive loves bouncy balls. From wiffle balls, to raquet balls, to bouncy pink princess balls, she can't get enough. Auntie Boo sent her a ball in the mail and it showed up with postage stuck right on the side. When we gave it to Olive she started kissing it. We asked her, "Do you like your ball?" She replied "Love it."

Turkey Day!

Happy Late Turkey Day! Will, Olive and I spent a nice quiet day around the house enjoying the Holiday. We ate the big meal at our friends Robin and Jay's house. We had lots of good food and good times with our park friends. One of the pictures below includes all of Olive's favorite things at Robin and Jay's: the washer/dryer, Robin's wooden spoons, and "Meow" (Robin's cute but unfriendly cat named Crossers).

We have been getting ready for the holidays (including someone's birthday) and trying to stay warm as the cold weather moves in. Olive has been staying busy counting and saying the alphabet. She also loves to sing and dance to all kinds of music.

As you can see from the following pictures she is getting good at transitioning from fingers in the mouth to "Cheese!"
