Sick Olive

It was a rough couple of days for Little O (and Mom and Dad). Early Wednesday morning we awoke to a very hot and very upset little girl. We decided to head to the ER because she had been sick all weekend with bronchiolitis. Turns out it progressed and now Olive has a touch of pneumonia. We stayed in the hospital Wednesday and most of Thursday. The hardest part was keeping her confined to a bed and hooked up to all kinds of machines. She isn't one to sit still for too long! Today she is feeling much better and seems to be a bit more like her old self. We are still treating her at home and will hopefully get everything cleared up this week. She should be bouncing off the walls again in no time!

Saturday Mornings...

Just a few pics of Olive playing with Will this past Saturday. She loves to climb on her papa and play "peek-a-boo" when we throw a blanket over his head. She is always in a good mood after a good night of sleep and is raring to go! It is a nice morning when we can all just hang out and play in our PJs.

Bridal Shower Bonanza

Our friends Chris and Jen are getting married very soon and Olive and I were lucky enough to get to go to Jen's shower. It was Olive's first shower and she did very well despite having to miss her afternoon nap. She got to see a little 2.5 month old baby (Scarlet) and was quite impressed by the veil that Jen was forced to wear...who wouldn't be impressed? Now we can only hope that we will be able to mooch some homeade ice cream off of Jen and Chris since we now know that they own an ice cream maker....

Hiking Sedona

Northern Arizona has had wonderful weather the past week so we thought we would take advantage of it and head to Sedona for a little hike. We did a short day hike over Deadman's Pass. It was of course beautiful and the red rocks of Sedona did not disappoint. Olive did really well in the backpack. We know she has a lot of outdoor adventures in her future so we thought it would be good to get her started early!

15 Minutes of Olive's Day

This is a typical morning for Olive. She can go from admiring the dogs in the backyard to reading her favorite books to playing with (or torturing?) her favorite "cow" in just a matter of minutes.

P.S.- It really isn't cold in our house--Olive just insists on wearing her hat while she is playing.

Animal Sounds with Olive

Olive has been jabbering quite a bit lately and once in awhile an intelligible word or sound comes out.
