Playing with Hammy

Olive and Hamilton have always had somewhat of an adversarial relationship - until the last few weeks. Olive is discovering that Hamilton is not such a bad dog. The other night we played in the hallway with Hammy which included Olive covering him up with a blanket and petting him. Hamilton is such a good dog, and lets Olive do pretty much anything she wants to him. We are lucky to have such a friendly pooch.

Cousin Tracie!

My cousin Tracie came out for a visit this past weekend. It was so great to see her and take her into the canyon. We had a wonderful time and Olive is still asking for Tracie. As you can see from our pictures we took a little hike into the canyon and then did some sightseeing on the rim. Thanks for coming out Tracie! Come again anytime!

Tracie looked like the guy in the warning sign but we decided to proceed with the hike anyway.

I also didn't look so good.

Backyard Fun

Today was the first really beautiful day of Spring. We celebrated by going for a bike ride around the Village and playing in the backyard. Olive's new favorite backyard toy is a slide we found at a yard sale down the street.

We all enjoyed the sunshine and getting to wear some summer clothes, but we had to laugh when we saw the forecast is calling for snow later this week.

Bunny Weekend

It was a weekend full of Easter fun for Olive and fam! It all stated with an Easter Egg hunt at the school. Olive made out like a bandit during the egg hunt...we were worried she wouldn't get many eggs but she took off like a woman on a mission when they yelled "go." It was quite funny. We spent the remainder of the morning at the playground where she played with our friend's daughters, Kylie, Meghan, and Maddie.

Then next day we were happy to find that the Bunny found our house and delivered way too much candy and toys for Olive. We even went back to the school to fly a kite. Hamilton joined us and even decided to follow us onto the slide and "shaky bridge." It was quite a departure from his usual timidness. It was an Easter miracle!
