Worms Rescue and Smores

Last Saturday we spent the afternoon cleaning up around our place. There were a ton of leaves in the driveway and wood in "fire pit" the last tenants created. As I raked up the leaves we discovered a ton of worms had made a nice little home there. Olive (the fairy princess in cowboy boots) took it upon herself to rescue the worms and transplant them into the flower beds along the driveway. At one point she was overheard to say, "Its okay little worm. I'll take care of you!" The girl who doesn't like to get her hands dirty LOVES worms. She's always full of surprises.


We ended the day with a hot dog/marshmallow roast. (Olive WAS worried about getting her hands dirty from the marshmallows.)

Circus Purkus

A few weeks ago we took Olive to the circus that came through Knoxville. We enjoyed clown hijinks, acrobats, a little dog show, and of course cotton candy and snowcones. Olive had a good time and enjoyed the show!

Rides!

You know those crummy little carnivals that would roll into town for a week? Well, we have them year round here and Olive is tempted by them daily. Daddy finally broke down and took her the other day. We had a blast!
